HOW DO WE TRANSLATE WHAT WE SEE?

The process of design is as important as the making. To be a well-rounded jewelry maker and designer, the beginning stages are the backbone of progress, developments, and variety. They are what will define your work from any other. 

Before thinking about design/ing - for whatever purpose, one must have a starting point. This could range from a poem, mood board, theme, concept, or reference that you want to reinvent and develop. This course will give you the tools to find your starting point, and develop the skills to know what to do with it and keep building your design language.
