Created by a female credit association (gam‘eya) in rural Egypt in Al Ayyat village, each piece is delicately embroidered with powerful Arabic words like قوية (strong) and شجاعة (brave), honoring the strength of those facing breast cancer with resilience and grace.
The embroidery features the traditional Egyptian rose, a motif that dates back generations — a symbol of life, femininity, and the beauty that endures through hardship. Passed down from mother to daughter, these stitches carry the legacy of craft, care, and community.
